Below contains the list of items currently found in OneShot. Items in green can't be selected to be used from hand or combined with other items in the inventory. Items in the inventory are always sorted according to their internal ID. It doesn't matter which item you acquired first they will always be displayed in the same order.

Item start bottle bottle of alcohol The smell of the liquid is repugnant. Required to make the "wet branch". Found in the fridge in the kitchen.
Item start branch dry branch A flaky, dry branch from the bathroom plant. Required to make the "wet branch". Found in the bathroom.
Item start branch wet wet branch The tip of the branch is soaked with alcohol. Required to make the "torch". Obtained by combining a dry branch with a bottle of alcohol.
Item start torch torch Doesn't give off much light. Required to find the "basement key". Obtained by using the wet branch on the television in the living room.
Item start key basement key This thing looks old. Required to unlock the basement. Found in the living room after setting the fireplace on fire.
Item blue camera camera A broken camera with a large screwed-in lens. Required to make the "lens". Found in the mineshaft entrance.
Item blue screwdriver screwdriver Phillips-head. Required to make the "lens". Found in Silver's house at the lookout point.
Item blue lens lens A large glass lens. Required to make the "empty battery". Obtained by using the screwdriver on the camera.
Item start bottle empty empty bottle The smell of alcohol lingers. Required to make the "bottle of pond water" or the "bottle of smoke" Byproduct of combining a dry branch with a bottle of alcohol.
Item blue battery broken broken battery Apparently a battery. It has some broken glass in it. Required to make the "empty battery". Obtained from a chest in the outpost after prying it open with a crowbar.
Item blue battery empty empty battery An intact, rechargable battery. Currently empty. Required to make the "charged battery". Obtained by combining lens with a broken battery.
Item blue battery full charged battery A working, rechargable battery. Maximum power. Required to fix the generator in the outpost. Can also be used by Cedric to fix the flying machine in Solstice. Obtained by combining the lightbulb with an empty battery.
Item blue bottle smoke bottle of smoke It's full of noxious fumes. Required to make the "bottle of acid". Obtained by filling an empty bottle with smoke from an open vent in the shrimp swamp.
Item blue bottle acid bottle of acid It's full of a thick liquid acid. Required to make the "wet sponge". Obtained by combining a bottle of smoke with a filled syringe.
Item blue sponge wet sponge Sponge soaked with acidic cleaning solution. Required to clean Rowbot #310. Obtained by combining a sponge with a bottle of acid.
Item blue prybar crowbar Makeshift crowbar made from a pipe. Required to open a box containing the "broken battery" and remove planks at the old factory. If combined with the "lightbulb" the Steam Achievement "Chaotic Evil" is earned. Obtained by crushing a metal rod with the crusher in a building in the outpost.
Item blue rod metal rod It weighs surprisingly little. Required to make the "crowbar". If combined with the "lightbulb" the Steam Achievement "Chaotic Evil" is earned. Found in a terminal room in the docks.
Item blue sponge sponge A flat sponge with a rough surface. Required to make the "wet sponge". Found in the old factory.
Item blue syringe empty empty syringe The needle is particularly long. Required to make the "filled syringe". Found in one of the dormitories.
Item blue syringe full filled syringe It's full of the strange liquid from the pond. Required to make the "bottle of acid" or the "bottle of pond water". Obtained by using the syringe on pond water bubble in the shrimp swamp in Barrens.
Item blue coin amber A piece of glowing amber with a black clover inside. Required to fix the Rowbot and advance to the Glen. See Phosphor for more information. Given to Niko by Silver before advancing to Glen.
Item blue journal strange journal Found in the Barrens. It's written in an unknown language. Required to advance the game when given to George. Found in the safe in the cliffs.
Item green feather feather A long and slender feather with glowing edges. Required to make the "feather pen". See Phosphor for more information. Given to Niko by Alula.
Item green ink bottle of dye A small vial filled with dark blue liquid used for dying wool. Required to make the "feather pen". Traded for wool with Magpie.
Item green water tube of water The label says "water sample". Required to make the "medicated water" or the "empty tube". Required to get the "Rebirth" Steam Achievement. Obtained from a robot in the research station.
Item green corn seed It's a seed apparently left behind by Maize. Required to get the "Rebirth" Steam Achievement. Found where Maize used to be.
Item green wool wool It's... kind of useless. Bartering material with Magpie to get the "bottle of dye". Obtained by herding rams in the village.
Item green pen feather pen A pen made from dipping a feather into ink. Required to advance to the Refuge. Using it will revert it back to the "feather". Obtained by combining the feather with a bottle of dye.
Item red die die A die with glowing dots. Required to advance to the Tower. See Phosphor for more information. Obtained from George before proceeding to the Tower.
Item red button button (?) A simple button made from a coffee tin. Required to make the "magnetized (?) button". Obtained by using the scissors on a metal can.
Item red magnetized button magnetized (?) button A button with magnets loosely attached. Using it on the elevator will make "you tried". This or "you tried" required to make the "taped button". Obtained by using the magnets on the "button (?)".
Item red button taped taped button The magnets are secured with tape. Required to reach the Surface. Obtained by taping the "magnetized (?) button" or "you tried" using the tape dispenser in the office.
Item red youtried you tried It's the thought that counts. This or the "magnetized (?) button" required to make the "taped button". Obtained by trying to use the "magnetized (?) button" as an elevator button.
Item red magnets magnets An assortment of colorful magnets. Required to make the "magnetized (?) button". Obtained from a fridge in the big room of the apartments.
Item red tin metal can Made of aluminum. Says "COFFEE GROUNDS" Required to make the "button (?)". Obtained from the cafe.
Item red scissors scissors A pair of scissors found amidst hair. Required to make the "button (?)". Obtained from a room in the apartments.
Item red film weird film A transparent sheet filled with numbers. Used to find the security code for the elevator. Unneeded if the code was solved through other means. Obtained from the computer in the room south from the office.
Item red lens concave concave lens A large lens, curved inward. Required to fix the camera. Found in Lamplighter's apartment in the back alley.
Item red lens convex convex lens A large lens, curved outward Required to fix the camera. Found in Lamplighter's apartment in the back alley.
Item red lens thin thin lens A delicately thin lens. Required to fix the camera. Found in Lamplighter's apartment in the back alley.
Item red lens thick thick lens A large, thick lens. Required to fix the camera. Found in Lamplighter's apartment in the back alley.
Item red gluestick glitter glue A small tube of pink glitter glue. Required to make the "photo of Niko (sticky)" or the "Library card (sticky)". Found in Kip's room in the factory.

Item red librarycard Kip's library card The name says "Kip Silverpoint Ph.D." Required to make the "Library card (sticky)" or the ""Kip"'s library card". Obtained from Kip in the factory after being requested a library card in the library.
Item blue gasmask gas mask A mask used to filter air for breathing. Required to traverse Barrens areas with gas vents. Obtained from the safe in the cliffs.
Item blue glove rubber gloves Gloves designed to prevent chemical damage. Required to make the "wet sponge". Obtained from the old factory.
Item green ramshirt novelty T-shirt "I herded rams and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!" Required to enter the Secret Ram Club. Traded with Magpie after requesting a better deal for wool.
Item red librarycard niko "Kip"'s library card Library card from Kip. Niko's own photo is glued on. Required to meet George. Obtained by combining "Library card (sticky)" with a picture of Niko or "photo of Niko (sticky)" with Kip's library card.
Item red librarycard glue Library card (sticky) There's glitter glue all over her photo now... Required to make the ""Kip"'s library card". Obtained by combining Kip's library card with glitter glue.
Item red photo glue photo of Niko (sticky) The back of the photo is covered in glitter glue. Required to make the ""Kip"'s library card". Obtained by combining a photo of Niko with glitter glue.
Item red dirt dirt A bag of dirt, for growing plants Required to get the "Rebirth" Steam Achievement. Obtained from Mason in the apartments.
Item red water pill water pill Goes in water, supposedly. Required to make the "medicated water". Obtained from a vendor in the vendor street.
Item green vial medicated water The water pill is dissolved in it. Required to get the "Rebirth" Steam Achievement. Obtained by combining a water pill with a tube of water.
CloverClover2 clover A black clover. Acts as a guide for placement of The Author's notes. Obtained upon entering the Tower.
Item red vial empty empty tube An empty tube. Used to hold water. Required to make the "tube of water" if it has already been emptied once. Obtained by emptying the tube of water in the garden.
Item blue bottle liquid bottle of pond water It has the consistency of glue. Red herring on its associated puzzle. Obtained by combining a filled syringe with an empty bottle.

Unused[]

The following items are unused in the Steam version of OneShot. They are listed as "debug", "old" or etc based on their purpose.

0051 Item green Feather(14) feather It's buzzing... Starts flashing white when Niko is on the correct path. The feather changes into this upon exiting the refuge-themed part of the maze. Reverts back to normal when you enter the barrens-themed part of the maze.
0052 Item red die(14) die It's buzzing... Starts flashing white when Niko is on the correct path. The die changes into this upon exiting the George's room after getting it. Reverts back to normal when you enter the glen-themed part of the maze.
0097 None novelty T-shirt I herded rams and all I got was this lousy T-shirt Equipment. Makes Niko unequip it, face the player and say "There's no way I'm wearing that." Traded with the trader after requesting a better deal for wool.
0098 None boots These boots will make it possible to move quickly. Equipment. Increases Niko movement speed. Found in the roadways at the beginning of barrens.
0099 None rubber gloves Gloves designed to prevent chemical damage. Equipment. Required to make the "wet sponge" and to clean the Rowbot. Found in the dormitories area.
0100 None gas mask A mask used to filter air for breathing. Equipment. Required to enter and stay in the natural gas vents area. Obtained from the safe in the cliffs.

  • Every "bottle" icon except for the alcohol bottle (and the dye/ink bottle) perfectly lines up.
